  • Parkridge Medical Center is seeking a skilled RN to join their team in Chattanooga, TN. The hospital's 4 West unit is equipped with 28 beds, iv pumps, walkers, scd's, and uses the Meditech documentation system.
    Job Requirements
  • The ideal candidate will display teamwork, compassion, collaboration, and communication skills. Medical-Surgical experience, including management of respiratory diseases, renal disease, GI illnesses, telemetry, CVCs, indwelling catheters, and heparin gtts, is required. Oncology and general surgery patient experience is preferred.
    Schedule Information
  • The schedule includes 4 weekend shifts per 28-day schedule and participation in the holiday rotation. The hospital requires a patient experience score of 72%, utilizing communication boards.
    Unit Specific Information
  • Number of Beds: 28
  • Patient Ratios: 1:6
  • Staffing: Clinical Coordinators, Unit Secretary, PCTs, Case Management
  • Equipment: Walkers, iv pumps, scd's, etc
  • Documentation System: Meditech
  • Scheduling: 4 weekend shifts per 28-day schedule, holiday rotation
  • Floating Policy: Included in rotation
  • Patient Experience Requirements: 72% utilizing communication boards
