Description
EMIT Technologies, Inc. is seeking a motivated Material Handler to join our team. You will be responsible for the receiving, storing, and distributing of materials, supplies, and equipment. This role requires the ability to lift heavy loads, operate material handling equipment, and maintain a clean and organized warehouse.
Key Responsibilities:

• Ensures orderly production and distribution of products by pulling orders from inventory, delivering production materials and supplies where needed, and staging finished product final distribution.
• Contributes to the orderly operation of stock and/or materials storage area.
• Maintains inventory by identifying, labeling, and keeping materials and supplies in stock, recording location of inventory, and reporting shortages.
• Locates materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials and supplies listed on production orders.
• Documents materials and records units delivered and location of units.
• Receives credit-return material and supplies from production by verifying materials and supply codes, lot numbers, and quantities.
• Prepares finished stock for shipment by identifying, pulling, packing, crating, loading, and securing product.
• Documents product shipment by recording units shipped.
• Operates forklifts, pallet jacks, and other machinery to move items, or signals machine

Requirements:

• Operate forklift, and combi lifts safely and efficiently, telehandler a plus
• Able to complete tasks without constant direction
• Ability to multitask, plan ahead, and manage time to stay organized
• Experience with handling long, heavy material in small areas
• Overhead crane experience is a plus but not required
• Minimum of 1 years forklift or similar experience
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs individually or 100lbs team lift
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
