TheDepartment of Pathology and Laboratory Medicineat Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center is seeking an Academic Surgical Pathologist. Subspecialty training or experience in Gastrointestinal, Genitourinary, Cytopathology, or Medical Renal Pathology is preferred.Overview:
  • Practice based in the newly renovated departmental space at the Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, NH close to the campus of Dartmouth College
  • Seeking pathologist(s) with subspecialty training or significant experience especially in Gastrointestinal, Genitourinary, Cytopathology, or Medical Renal Pathology
  • Active participation in the academic mission of the department, including flexible and tailored focus on clinical research, quality, and educational initiatives both with Dartmouths Geisel School of Medicine and our AP/CP Pathology Resident trainees
  • An academic appointment, commensurate with experience, will be requested at Dartmouths Geisel School of Medicine
  • Excellent facilities for diagnostic applications and collaborative research activities, including a state-of-the-art on-site clinical genomics laboratory, an active pathology informatics group, and established digital pathology resources
  • Collegial and supportive faculty and staff
Requirements and Preferences:
  • Board-certified or board-eligible in AP or AP/CP
  • Fellowship training or significant experience in a surgical pathology subspecialty is desirable
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to obtain/maintain NH and VT medical licenses
