Details/Requirements:
Providing procedural (endoscopy) coverage one week out of each month; to assist with backlog of referrals, physician vacation coverage, and retirement of physician.
Monday Friday Procedural Days in our Surgical Services Department
7:30am 3pm (Procedure Time)
Approximately 10 scopes per day
3pm 5pm (Charting/Admin Time)
No call
Will be REQUIRED to perform: Colonoscopy Upper Endoscopy GI Consult (as needed)
Procedures Preferred: Esophageal Dilation; Esophageal Foreign Body Anticipated
Procedures/Surgeries per Week: 50-60 Endoscopies
Gastroenterology fellowship required
ACLS required
Hospital Provides Endoscopy Tech, Nurses, and Support Staff
Embedded into General Surgery clinic with two Surgeons
Critical Access Hospital
EMR System: Epic
