Gastroenterologist Locums Job in South Dakota Clinic + Scoping Days Starts ASAP and Ongoing

Coverage Needed: outpatient clinic and scoping days, up to full-time starting ASAP, ongoing for at least 6 to 12 months (or until perm is hired)

Jackson and Coker is partnered with a state-of-the-art hospital in South Dakota looking for GI Outpatient Clinic + Scoping starting ASAP. This beautiful Midwest town is known for its vibrant downtown and proximity to outdoor adventures. Client also has a separate need for inpatient advanced + general GI (ERCP and/or EUS) coverage if interested.

Details/Requirements:
Up to full-time, willing to accept 1-2 weeks per month and multiple candidates
Active South Dakota license or IMLC LOQ
Will also need South Dakota CSR and South Dakota DEA
Board Certification required
Outpatient is General Gastroenterology only, no advanced procedures required
Seeking GI physicians for clinic and scoping days
Patient census for clinic: 12-16 patients per day
Patient census for outpatient scopes: 12-18 scopes per day
Two APP s Monday through Friday, 8am-4pm, one on weekends and holidays
Anesthesia done by CRNA, full anesthesia with anesthesiologist/CRNS team when clinically indicated
Level 2 trauma center
EMR: EPIC
Note that this service has one of the heaviest alcoholic liver disease and upper GI bleeding workloads in the country.
