The OR Sterile Processing Technician Tech provides multiple phases of processing and sterilization of a variety of patient care instruments and equipment. Assures patient care items are distributed to units and OR. Also responsible for assisting in the transporting of instruments to and from surgery and assist in cleaning operating rooms between and after surgical cases as needed. Assists with environmental maintenance of the operating room and with the handling of surgical supplies. Performs other duties as required, including running errands to other departments. May be required to order; stock supplies and pull cases for the next day.
