DescriptionWe are a fast-paced Pediatric dental practice that sees children and teens to age 18. We are upbeat and take pride in the care we provide for our patients. The office works as a team and we are looking for a forward thinker, self motivator and team player. The Dental Assistant will assist the dentist chair side, greet and escort patients, take radiographs as instructed by the provider, set up rooms completely prior to the doctor coming in to start treatment and break down operatories, clean operatory areas after each patient, and will stock all materials needed in the clinic daily. They will chart progress notes in full detail and accuracy as soon as possible. In addition, the Dental Assistant will be responsible for sterilization and maintaining equipment and materials in accordance with OSHA, federal and state guidelines.We see patients twice a month (2nd Wed and 3rd Friday) at Children's Hospital. This will be mandatory so you must be able to pass a background check and arrive at the hospital by 6:00 am. The Dental Assistant will check their schedules for accuracy and treatment plans, They will help where needed when time allows.
