JOB SUMMARY Our Customer Service position is responsible for inbound and outbound calls, notating account changes, answering account questions, performing administrative tasks, and processing financial transactions. The associate must be extremely accurate, detail-oriented, and able to multitask while maintaining a friendly demeanor. The candidate must maintain exceptional customer service skills and effectively resolve customer issues when they arise.
SHIFT AND SCHEDULE - This is a full-time in-office position. Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES, FUNCTIONS, AND RESPONSIBILITIES - Managing customer communications received via multiple sources, including in-person or walk-in, phone, email, text, website, and social media sites.
- Understanding and effectively communicating the company's product, service offerings, availability, and pricing.
- Performing dispatch functions, including scheduling work orders and routing technicians as needed.
- Following up, as needed, with customers and potential customers: to accurately complete service orders; to schedule, reschedule, or cancel work orders; and notify customers of appointment updates.
- Collaborating with appropriate internal departments and leadership as needed.
- Picking up and delivering correspondence from local post offices and banks.
EDUCATION & RELATED EXPERIENCE - High school diploma or equivalent GED is required.
- A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are required.
- A minimum of one year of customer service experience is required.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES - Maintain a clean, courteous, and professional demeanor.
- Knowledge of computers, printers, and other office equipment.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Ability to maintain attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently to meet deadlines.
- Outstanding interpersonal and presentation skills.
- A Computer Skills Assessment may be required to be considered for this position.
