BenefitsPaid Time Off and 9 Paid Holidays Company-Paid Volunteer Day 401k with a company match Uniforms/Scrubs Provided Quarterly Bonus Opportunities Employee Referral Program Bonuses Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance Company-Paid Life, Short-Term and Long-Term Disability Insurance Health Reimbursement and Flexible Spending Accounts Career Growth Opportunities Primary responsibilities of our sterilization techniciansSterilize all dental instruments and equipment in accordance with company policy and manufacturer guidelines Operate and maintain steam autoclaves, keeping records of loads completed, items in loads, and maintenance procedures performed Perform in-office spore testing, record test results, and maintain a log of the results Assist the Lead Dental Assistant with evaluating and ordering inventory as needed Support greeting patients including taking temperature checks and seating in rooms Provide support for chairside Dental Assistants by helping to ensure clinical teams have materials and instruments during patient care Work collaboratively with the team on scheduling, ensuring an exceptional patient experience, and maintaining the condition of the practice and equipment Qualifications to join us as a sterilization technicianHigh School Diploma or GED required, degree preferred Current CPR or BLS or the ability to obtain (employer paid) Stable work history - no more than 3 employers in the last 5 years Excellent communication skills and a commitment to partnering with all team members Experience in a dental or medical practice preferred, but not required.
