Responsibilities: The Warehouse Associate is responsible for the safe, accurate warehousing and re-warehousing of product. This includes all aspects of shipping and receiving. The Warehouse Associate is responsible for properly processing and order picking the designated products from their warehouse locations, placing the product on pallets, and preparing the pallets for shipment. Proper loading and unloading of trailers must be done consistent with the company standards of quality, safety, security and productivity. ll received product must be completely accurate and conform to customer standard. Inventory must always be accounted for through movements of the warehouse management system. ll work should be performed at a high-quality level. ny errors should be resolved through established processes. Check or count products for accuracy and/or damage and infestation. Participate in the Lean program. Must be able to identify pallet ID tags and document information. This requires the ability to write, match numbers, and identify correct location codes. Must be able to accurately pick product. This requires the ability to bend, stoop, reach and lift up to 50 lbs. Participate in physical inventories as needed. Material handling equipment must be operated in a safe manner by designated associates only. ll damage to product, equipment or other company property must be reported. Equipment must be kept neat and orderly in compliance with guidelines set forth in the maintenance procedures. Requirements High School diploma, GED, or 1 year experience required.
