Job Description & Requirements Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit Discipline: RN Start Date: 01/05/2025 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel PLEASE NOTE THIS IS FOR A JANUARY START ONLY. /// Unit Staffing Environment: The nurse to patient ratio is a 2:1 for ICU levels of care. However, for bed management purposes they could have MNS level patients and a higher ratio by themselves with someone on call. There is a supervisor in-house that could assist them until the on-call nurse arrives. There are generally 2 nurses on unless the unit low volume census a nurse but would have back up available until that nurse comes in. Must assess and identify patient problems/needs, establish a plan of care, implement interventions, and evaluate and revise the patient plan of care based on patient progress. Supports organizational efforts to continuously improve patient satisfaction scores. Performs and documents physical and psychosocial assessment of patients. Treats co-workers with courtesy and respect. Actively works to strengthen interdepartmental relationships. Provides comfort the patients and families, including prompt and effective nursing management. Collaborates with patient, family, and others in the conduct of nursing practice. Patient population: High acuity MSN/Tele, could get a vent or critical patient and then transfer out EMR: Cerner Dress code: Scrubs of any color /// Submission Requirements 2 years of CURRENT ICU experience - Required Recent experience with high acuity MS/Tele patient - Required Prior travel experience - Preferred BSN - Preferred Profile Requirements Work History Skills Checklist (pertinent to position), current to 1 year 1 Supervisory Signed Reference (from within the past two years of employment) License/Certifications - Must be uploaded with profile - Facility will not pend License/Cert Certification Requirements ACLS (AHA) BLS (AHA) PALS (AHA) State License Requirements New Hampshire Compact Allowed Additional License Requirements NH or Compact RN licence MUST be in hand at upload.
