Locums - Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, Obstetrics Hospitalist Physician Opening
  • Clinical Role:

    • Shift Schedule Details & Shift Duration: 24hr
    • Coverage Dates (Specific, long term only): 8-10 shifts per month May-Oct or until enough internals hired
    • Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible
    • Active State License
    • Reason for Coverage: New program
    • EMR: Meditech. Changing to Expanse in Q4 2024
    • NICU Level: 2
    • Total Hospital Deliveries (annual avg.): 1000 but may drop some in early 2024
    • Estimated Deliveries for Hospitalists (annual): Anticipating most deliveries will be turned over to OBHG
    • Estimated Patient Encounters for Hospitalists (not including deliveries) (monthly): TBD
    • MFM onsite? Tele MFM
    • In-house Anesthesia? Yes 24/7
    • Residency Program and Type: EM, FM, Anesthesia, Surgery, and IM Fellowship
    • Hospitalists to Provide GYN Coverage: Yes
    • Hospitalists Needed for First Assist: Yes
    • First Assist Available to the Hospitalists: Yes
    • Hospitalists to Backup Midwives: No
    • Hospitalists to Backup Family Practice: No
    • Backup Available to the Hospitalists: Yes
    • License/DEA Requirements (State or Client): Active SC required
