A leading player in the employee benefits field, we are excited to present a new opportunity for a Customer Service Specialist. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Input and update personal lines accounts in the system, providing prompt, accurate, and courteous service to insureds, account executives, and insurance companies. Receive, report and manage open claims by delivering timely and accurate information to the insurance company, sales representatives and advising insureds on the necessary processes for loss settlement.
  • Handle incoming calls and referrals for new business, gather necessary information, assist in completing applications and respond to inquiries regarding claim statuses and follow up with insurance companies for timely resolution.
  • Maintain and organize customer files, ensuring that all transactions are accurately checked and attached.
  • Review and process all incoming mail on the day received, ensuring timely handling of correspondence.
  • Review and order necessary renewals at least 60 days before expiration. Prepare proposals for new accounts and renewal business as needed.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED required; some college coursework preferred.
  • Current Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance License or willingness to obtain.
  • Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Proficiency in office software and agency automation systems.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Base salary range: $35,000-40,000.
