Job Title: Shipper Support (RGM) Job Description On a day-to-day basis, you will act as a Remote Gate Agent supporting thousands of drivers across the country using two-way audio/video communication to verify and identify any necessary specifications on trucks and processes. You will coordinate, communicate, and provide updates daily to all parties involved in the arrival, loading, unloading, and departure at warehouses, facilities, and distribution centers. We are looking for candidates who are extremely detail-oriented, can work in a fast-paced environment with a high sense of urgency, are quick learners, and are technically savvy. This team handles all gate operations, allowing onsite associates to focus on daily operations that need to be completed. You will speak to roughly 200 drivers a day, so excellent and clear communication is a must.
Responsibilities - Provide remote support to drivers across the country using two-way audio/video communication
- Verify and identify necessary specifications on trucks and processes
- Coordinate, communicate, and provide updates to all parties involved in the arrival, loading, unloading, and departure at warehouses, facilities, and distribution centers
- Manage gate operations to allow onsite associates to focus on daily tasks
- Communicate clearly and effectively with approximately 200 drivers daily
Essential Skills - Customer service experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Strong phone etiquette
- Great customer skills and awareness
- Technical savviness
- Experience in logistics, intermodal, supply chain, call center, communication, and people skills
- 1+ year of high-volume call center customer support experience or strong retail customer service experience
- Strong job tenure
- Ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Experience with Microsoft Excel and keyboard shortcuts
- Ability to multi-task and work on multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to learn quickly and work in a fast-paced environment

Work Environment Training is in person/on site for 3 weeks (M-F), 8am - 4:30pm, after which you will transition into your production role. The office location is AZA1: 8600 South Science Drive, Tempe, AZ. Working hours are from 6:00am - 2:30pm and 8:30am - 5:00pm after training is completed. The position is onsite 5 days per week with no work from home or hybrid options. Overtime will be necessary. You must be open to working holidays. Shift patterns include Thurs - Mon, Fri - Tues, Sat - Wed, Wed - Sun, or M-F (M-F shifts may be limited, so candidates must be willing to work both weekend days)
