We are need of a hardworking, passionate individual to work Weekend days.nnPosition Summary:nnThe Patient Care Tech works as a team member with other Birchwood staff on the delivery of resident care in order to facilitate resident satisfaction, facility efficiency, and provider productivity. The Patient Care Tech assists with the day-to-day needs of the residents related to comfort, mobility, medication assistance, and ADLs. To promote safety, the Patient Care Tech assists residents with attendance at activities, appointments, and meals.nnMinimum Qualifications:nnAmerican Heart Association BLS required within 2 months of hirennServSafe required within 2 months of hirennPreferred: High School Diploma or equivalentnnPreferred: 1 year experience working in a customer service or hospitality role for high-end clientelennPreferred: 1 year experience working as an aide or caregiver in a ALF, LTC, SNF, or hospitalnnPreferred: Certified Nursing Assistant, Medical Assistant, or Emergency Medical Technician certification.nnEssential Job Functions:nnAccountable for coordinating care for residents with the nursing staffnnImplement the plan of care for residents established under direction of nursing staff, reporting observations and comments to nursingnnObtain and records vital signs. Document I&Os as needed.
