MONDAY - FRIDAY NIGHTS (6PM - TYPICALLY 3AM / when route is complete) | Average stops per route 8. Average miles per night-400.
Driver pay range based on specific route: $74K - $90K/year.
Position Overview:
The CDL Truck Driver (Class A or B) is responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of goods to an from various locations. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, customer service, and timely delivery. The ideal candidate will have a clean driving record, strong communication skills and the ability to handle freight effectively.
Responsibilities Include:
- Safety Operate a Class A or B commercial vehicle in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
- Transport goods to and from distribution centers, stores, and other locations as assigned.
- Load and unload freight using appropriate equipment and techniques to ensure safety and prevent damage.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, milage, and vehicle maintenance.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and customers to ensure smooth operations.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company polices, including hours-of-service regulations.
- Assist with other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- Valid CDL Class A or B license with hazmat endorsement and a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 2+years of experience driving commercial vehicles (Class A or B).
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards.
- Strong communication skills and customer service orientation.
- Ability to lift 50lbs and perform physical tasks related to loading/unloading.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as needed.

Education and/or Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Valid CDL (Commercial Driver's License) Class A or B is required.
- Minimum of 2+years of experience driving commercial vehicles, preferable with similar-sized trucks.
- Experience with load securement and safe transportation of goods/products preferred.
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and FMCSA safety standards.
