The CDL Operator is responsible for the safe and proper execution of jobs across all services lines. Supervises and completes single task jobs requiring one crew and completes turnarounds with management oversight at clients site in accordance with client and business requirements and company policies, practices, and procedures. * Transitioning Military, this is a great opportunity to leverage your skills and training as you return to civilian life. * Key Responsibilities:nnAct as safety representative responsible for safety policies and procedures of both the company and the customer, including hands-on information regarding operations, safety, equipment, emergency response and administrative functions.nHands-on operation vacuum equipment and hydro-blasting equipment.nOperation of special equipment, such as Ultra High-Pressure pumps.nOperate equipment by energizing the pumping equipment and/or any specialized hydro-blasting and/or chemical cleaning equipment, vacuum trucks and cutting equipment being used on the job.nMay be required to examine surface cleaned to ensure conformance to company and customer specifications.nPerform routine maintenance on company equipment being used on the job.nPerform any and all duties associated with liquid vacs, air machines and jet rodders.nMay direct a crew of vacuum technicians.nMay transport equipment and personnel to and from customer locations.nCompletes pre and post trip inspections, drivers logs and complies with all other vehicle policy and DOT requirements.nLoading and unloading hoses.nUnload vacuum truck at the dump site.nProvide general maintenance in the field.nPerform other related duties as assigned.nnRequired Qualifications:nnSpecific vocational preparation including classroom safety training, on-the-job training and essential experience gained on other jobs.nLanguage proficiency: understand English at a level to comprehend safety training and respond to instructions in emergency situations.nValid drivers license, CDL Class A or B and other requirements of companys driving policy required when driving company vehicle or using personal vehicle on company business.nSmartphone required for Electronic Logging Device.nFederal Transportation Workers Identification Credential (TWIC) may be required.nMust be knowledgeable in the operation of emergency equipment, such as fire extinguishers.nExperience operating a vacuum truck.nWorking knowledge of operating equipment used in wet and dry vacuums.nnWhat does it take to work in this position?nnHigh school diploma/GED or equivalent experience.nClass A or Class B CDL License required.nHAZMAT and Tanker Endorsements, preferred.nnAtlas Industrial Outsourcing is an equal opportunity employer.
