Job Description

We are looking for a manager, IT operations and ITSM who will report to the director, global service desk & ITSM. The manager is tasked with leading and helping the team evolve our service offering as the center piece of IT Service Management portfolio. As part of your role, you’ll be leading a team managing critical IT processes (i.e. change, problem, major incident) as well as managing third party service providers.

YOU’LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:

  • Own and continuously evolve the change management process.
  • Lead the major incident process and team.
  • Transform our problem management process.
  • Manage third-party vendors providing various IT support services.
  • Evolve our Transfer to Operations framework.
  • Contribute in the delivery of strategic technology and user facing projects.
  • Lead and champion the transformation of our monitoring and alerting processes.  
  • Collaborate with leaders of various I&T teams in achieving key performance metrics. 
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvements in incident and service request management.

YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:

  • Proficient and experienced in leading a diversly located 24/7team in delivering and providing I&T services.
  • Hands-on technical experience and exposure to end-user and manufacturing computer environments.
  • Experienced in operating in a direct and matrix people management organization.
  • Passionate in delivering excellent customer service and the desire to build relationships with business partners.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and experienced in dealing with all levels of employees in the organization, including senior leadership.
  • Passionate about recruiting, coaching, training, managing and mentoring employees.
  • Bilingualism (French and English) is required because of our globally located workforce and daily interface with leaders in countries that BRP operates in.
