In this role, you will:
- Test Planning: Collaborate with the QA team to plan and design test automation strategies and approaches for various projects.
- Test Case Development: Develop automated test scripts and test cases based on project requirements, functional specifications, and user stories.
- Test Execution: Execute automated test scripts to ensure the quality and functionality of software applications across different platforms and environments.
- Defect Management: Identify, report, and track defects using appropriate tools and methodologies, and work closely with developers to resolve issues.
- Test Framework Development: Contribute to the development and maintenance of test automation frameworks to support efficient and scalable test automation efforts.
- Test Environment Setup: Set up and configure test environments, including software, hardware, and network configurations, to facilitate automated testing.
- Performance Testing: Develop and execute performance test scripts to assess the performance and scalability of applications under different load conditions.
- Documentation: Document test procedures, test results, and automation scripts to ensure comprehensive test coverage and facilitate knowledge transfer within the team.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Strong English verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with Clojure Script
- Experience with Ruby on Heroku
- Experience with SQL and Mongo
- Experience with Windows
- Experienced with test automation using Selenium
- Test Automation Framework
- Good working knowledge of Jenkins
- Comfortable at looking for ways to automate and optimize common tasks
- Professional experience in software quality assurance
- Experience with VMWare, Kubernetes, Helm
- Knowledge of the telecommunications industry, particularly telephony and networking
- Looks for opportunities to improve test automation tooling and code
- Familiar with best practices for test automation
- Skilled in working with distributed systems
- Knows the difference between a road block and a hurdle
- Can independently troubleshoot and investigate issues that arise
