Job Description
:
As an IT Architect, you will take on a key role in designing and deploying advanced network, virtualisation, and cloud-based storage systems for a leading French airline.
Based in Toulouse, you will be responsible for shaping the airline's IT infrastructure, ensuring its scalability, security, and alignment with industry best practices. This 12-month mission offers a unique opportunity to influence the technological backbone of a major player in the aviation industry. Fluency in both French and English is essential, as you will collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders. While on-site presence is required 3-4 days per week, more frequent availability is highly encouraged.
Responsibilities:
Design and implement complex IT architectures, focusing on networks, virtualization technologies, and cloud-based storage solutions.
Collaborate with the airline’s IT and operations teams to understand technical needs and translate them into scalable, secure systems aligned with business objectives.
Draft detailed technical documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
Guide the implementation process and ensure seamless integration of new technologies into the existing IT landscape.
Provide expert guidance to ensure systems are robust, resilient, and future-proof.
Ensure adherence to security and compliance standards.
Skills/Must Have:
Proficiency in designing and deploying network infrastructure solutions, as well as virtualisation platforms and cloud storage systems.
Strong understanding of network protocols, virtualisation technologies (such as VMware, Hyper-V), and cloud environments (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud).
Experience in cloud migration and storage optimisation strategies.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex IT architectures to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Fluency in French and English is required, along with a customer-focused mindset and the ability to work efficiently both independently and within teams.
Salary & Benefits:
Competitive and commensurate with experience.
Opportunity to work on a mission-critical project for one of Europe's most respected airlines.
Involvement in high-profile IT infrastructure projects.
Chance to shape the future of aviation technology.
Flexible working conditions.
