We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Enterprise Application Administrator to join our dynamic Enterprise Applications team. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about supporting and optimizing business applications, ensuring seamless integration across various platforms, and working in a fast-paced environment. As an Enterprise Application Administrator, you will play a crucial role in managing and maintaining systems such as NetSuite, Dayforce, Jira, and other key platforms used across the organization.
You will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, IT teams, and external partners to deliver high-quality solutions that support our business needs. This role offers a great opportunity to grow and develop your skills in application management and integration, working with a variety of cloud-based tools and technologies.
How will I make an impact? System Administration: Administer and maintain enterprise applications such as NetSuite, Salesforce, Dayforce, Jira, Confluence, and others, ensuring optimal performance, security, and user accessibility.
User Support: Provide day-to-day support and troubleshooting for application-related issues, responding to incident tickets and service requests from internal users.
Integration Support: Assist in monitoring and maintaining integrations between systems using tools like Azure Functions and Data Factory. Support and escalate issues with data integrations where needed.
Process Documentation: Develop and maintain system documentation, process workflows, and user guides for applications, ensuring clear and accurate information is available for end users and stakeholders.
Data Management: Perform data imports, exports, and data maintenance tasks, ensuring accuracy and data integrity across systems.
User Access Control: Manage user accounts, roles, and permissions, ensuring proper access control within all systems.
Testing and Upgrades: Support testing, upgrades, and deployments of application enhancements, working closely with other admins, developers, and external vendors.
Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work with BAs, Devs, and other teams to understand business needs, propose solutions, and deliver application improvements that align with organizational goals.
Incident Management: Assist with troubleshooting and resolving system errors, providing timely updates, and following up with relevant parties to resolve incidents effectively.
What you’ll bring to the role? Qualifications: Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Experience: 1-3 years of experience in an enterprise application support or administrator role, working with business systems like NetSuite, Salesforce, Dayforce, Jira, or similar platforms.
Technical Skills: Familiarity with cloud-based applications and system administration.
Basic knowledge of scripting or automation tools (e.g., PowerShell, JavaScript) is a plus.
Experience with integration tools like Boomi, Azure Functions, or Data Factory is desirable but not required.
Problem Solving: Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, manage multiple tasks, and prioritize effectively.
Adaptability: Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to a fast-changing environment.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience administering multiple enterprise applications simultaneously.
Basic understanding of data flows, data integrations, and troubleshooting integration issues.
Experience working in an Agile environment or familiarity with ticketing systems like Jira.
Knowledge of IT best practices related to security, data management, and system performance.
The expected base salary range for a new hire in this role is listed below. The annualized base salary offered is determined by each candidate’s relevant knowledge, skills, education, training and experience. It is aligned to ensure both internal and external competitiveness using market data for the geographic location and industry. As part of the total compensation at D2L the role may be eligible for additional benefits including a Wellness Subsidy, Equity Grants, Variable Incentive, and more.
Base Salary Range: $70,000 — $86,500 CAD
