General Description:
Implementation & Training Services help new and existing customers successfully onboard and launch with D2L products. We prioritize partnering with our customers by adopting a consultative approach.
As a Sr. Integration Specialist, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining seamless integrations between various applications and systems using the Workato platform. This role involves collaborating with customers to understand business requirements, creating efficient workflows, and ensuring data accuracy and system reliability. The specialist will also monitor and troubleshoot integration processes, provide training and support to end-users, and stay updated with the latest Workato features and industry trends to continuously enhance integration solutions. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities are essential for success in this role.
Major Responsibilities:
Subject Matter Expert for integrations within Implementation Services. Work directly with the client to understand, document requirements, and execute on all of their integration needs.
D2L Link, API, LTI, SSO, SIS.
Work with product managers and development managers to contribute to requirements gathering and prioritization around our integration needs.
Collaborate with engineering and design to identify feasible solutions related to integrations with D2L products and D2L Partners.
Raise critical issues and concerns to leadership as required.
Internal knowledge and process improvement Work with sales team during pre-sales process on complex use cases around integrations.
Provide leadership support to other consultants.
Improve the overall efficiency in our consulting for integrations to our implementation services group.
Recognize and identify areas where existing policies and procedures require change or development.
Participate in other billable and non-billable responsibilities as required.
Ability to instill confidence and influence customers' decisions in a consultative manner as a trusted advisor.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to speak to a variety of different audiences with various levels of technical acumen.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, resulting in creative solutions.
Ability to multitask many simultaneous projects using strong organizational skills and prioritize effortlessly.
Skills:
Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and emerging technologies.
Database knowledge.
Working experience with the following technologies is considered an asset:
D2L Link.
AWS.
API integrations, Github, Postman.
Business Intelligence tools (i.e. Tableau, Power BI).
XML.
HTML/HTML5/CSS.
SQL.
Work Experience:
At least 5 years of relevant work experience.
At least one year of experience working with relevant programming technologies.
Experience working with one or more of the following considered an asset:
Learning Management Systems.
At least one year of integration experience.
Education:
University degree/diploma or equivalent in relevant field considered an asset.
