The Opportunity
The Digital Risk team within EY’s Risk Consulting domain is looking for a dynamic person in the ERP Security, Controls, and GRC space, primarily for SAP and Oracle. This candidate will know how to help clients identify, design, implement and extract value from their SAP solution and supporting business processes. You will help clients make ‘better decisions’ and work with them on their most important challenges relating to:
Security and controls
Business process controls transformation
Strategic risk management
Enterprise Governance, Risk and Control (GRC) technology enablement
Program and project risk management
Your Key Responsibilities
Leading SAP Security, Controls and GRC related engagements, reviewing and advising on engagements across a broad range of SAP and/or Oracle technologies
Provide leadership and direction to the ERP Security, Controls, and GRC team
Leading ERP Control design, implementation, and review/assessments
Taking a lead in full cycle project risk management tasks relating to project delivery and highlighting key issues to leadership
Managing engagement resourcing and financials to keep engagements on track
Developing and maintaining external client and internal stakeholder relationships
Leading and supporting the Partners and other Senior Managers in project pursuit, recruitment, and business development activities
Leading initiatives for practice development and supporting with development of resourcing and training plans for the practice
Working effectively as a team member by sharing responsibility, providing support, maintaining communication, and updating leadership on progress
Providing coaching and mentoring to new team members
Identifying new areas of growth and development for the practice
To qualify for the role, you must have:
10+ years of experience
A Bachelor's degree in information systems, commerce, accounting, computer science, engineering, business, finance and/or other related major
Good knowledge of and experience in SAP and/or Oracle Security and GRC with a high-level understanding of SAP system functionalities
Experience in end-to-end implementations, leading teams, and knowledge of the project lifecycle
Experience in client relationship management
Experience in sales pursuit cycles (i.e. proposals and/or direct sales)
Highly professional, with the ability to work in challenging, diverse and evolving client environments
Flexible with the ability and willingness to learn quickly, and leverage skills in new situations
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong team leadership and collaboration skills are essential
Strong presentation and facilitation skills
A passion to contribute to the growth of the practice
Ability to identify and address client needs, including developing and sustaining meaningful client relationships
Interest in the ability to apply accounting knowledge to Security and Internal Control functions within the SAP domain
Ability to travel both domestically and internationally
Ideally, you’ll also have
Knowledge of Business and/or IT General Controls
Ability to identify key risks and controls in the SAP environment, knowledge of Sarbanes Oxley readiness, controls optimization, as well as configuration of controls around security and business process within SAP
French language ability
Experience with business development activities and account planning activities
