Job Description To work as a Senior Consultant within the AMCL North America delivery team supporting a variety of Asset Management business transformation projects covering consultancy, training and Asset Management assessments for physical asset intensive organizations.
Responsibilities:
Supporting the development and management of complex Asset Management improvement programs, service lines or business units for asset intensive organizations, as either an employee or consultant.
Development of Asset Management systems/frameworks and the supporting elements such as Asset Management policies, Asset Management strategies (SAMPs) etc.
Specific client account and relationship management to identify business opportunities within existing markets.
Delivery of proposals, including selecting appropriate methodologies and developing project plans.
Supporting commercial arrangements with clients and developing appropriate invoicing schedules and tracking mechanisms.
Developing project plans with clients, including timescales and specifications for deliverables.
Managing the delivery of multiple tasks in projects.
Managing internal and external project reporting and governance activities and communicate risks and opportunities to internal and external stakeholders.
Facilitating meetings, workshops and events.
Tracking overall project progress against schedule and collate information required for project accounting and invoicing purposes.
Managing the production and handover of final deliverables, including presenting findings to clients.
Carrying out project reviews, including capturing client feedback.
This role requires travel across Canada, one or twice per month.
Key Performance Indicators:
Maintain positive and constructive relationships with internal project managers, subject matter experts and clients.
Carry out research, data collection and analysis activities.
Interpret findings from investigative and exploratory assignments, clearly identify issues and formulate and present findings and recommendations to clients.
Manage projects and tasks to the agreed schedules.
Support the continual improvement of AMCL products and services.
Produce high quality deliverables.
Qualifications Experience/Education:
+ 4 years of relevant experience.
Recognized university degree.
Working in an infrastructure Asset Management organization and knowledge of the phases of the asset lifecycle (Acquire, Operate, Maintain, Dispose) and its enablers e.g. asset information & asset risk.
Working in an organization within multi-disciplinary teams and leading the delivery of “consultancy” projects.
