As a Payroll Specialist at Quantic Dream, you will be called upon to work directly with management to ensure efficient end-to-end management of payroll projects and operations.
Responsibilities Manage end-to-end payroll operations, including processing semi-monthly payrolls and off-cycle payrolls, managing RRSPs & DPSPs related contributions, and overseeing interactions with our payroll provider, while focusing on accuracy, timeliness and confidentiality.
Oversee payroll documentation and reporting, including maintaining files and records, generating reports, assisting with year-end documents, preparing journal entries, participating in audits and supporting special projects as needed.
Ensure compliance with company policies and legislative requirements, while keeping up to date with current payroll-related legislation.
Provide expert customer service and support by serving as a primary resource for employees, managers, and departments; addressing internal and external payroll inquiries and assisting employees with bi-monthly timesheet maintenance.
Experiences & Qualifications College diploma in accounting or equivalent;
At least 3 years of experience in payroll or similar;
Proficiency in Excel;
Accreditation as a Payroll Compliance Professional (PCP), an asset;
Experience acting as a point of contact with an external payroll provider like OuiPay, an asset.
