High Tech Genesis is seeking an experienced engineer to maintain and operate our OpenStack infrastructure. A strong background in OpenStack is highly desirable, along with solid experience in Linux operations, particularly in networking. Proficiency in Python and shell scripting is important, and on-call experience is a valuable asset. If you're passionate about infrastructure and automation, we'd love to hear from you.
Required skills and experience with:
3+ years of industry experience in infrastructure, virtualization, or cloud engineering
1+ years of experience working with a public cloud such as GCP
1+ years of experience working with Docker
1+ years of experience working with CI/CD or DevOps systems
Management and operations of the OpenStack platform
Knowledge in Design, implementation and operation of distributed software
Experience with Infrastructure Management Tools such as Intersight and UCS Manager
Experience in Infrastructure or service operations at scale
Experience with Network administration
Knowledge of Linux administration (especially Linux networking)
Experience with REST
Experience in Virtualization technologies
Experience in Containerization technologies e.g. Docker
Experience in Python
Experience in Ansible
Experience in Terraform
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
