Job Description

JOB FUNCTION: Monitoring warehouse inventory and performing cycle counting duties to ensure all materials are properly verified and reflect reported inventory. Maintain inventory accuracy through proper counting, processing of material reports and transfers. Assist the Warehouse, Production, Engineering and Customer Service in locating materials. Other duties as assigned.
Major Responsibilities/Activities:

  • Cycle count materials based on SAP which will be monitored by the Inventory Control Supervisor.
  • Research inventory discrepancies and submit accurate inventory and bin location reports.
  • Assist in determining root causes on inventory discrepancies and help implement corrective actions to eliminate repetitive errors.
  • Responsible for answering CS, Warehouse, Production and Engineering inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Assist all Warehouse Pullers in locating materials.
  • Assist in updating dims and weights for all materials in database.
  • Always follow all safety rules and regulations.
  • Be able to drive the order picker and other warehouse equipment carefully and safely.
  • Always maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Any other tasks or projects may be assigned by Supervisor or Manager.
Knowledge and skills requirements:
  • Knowledge and awareness of different parts and part numbers
  • Role model for housekeeping and safety practices
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and independently.
  • Strong computer/keying skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to follow procedures, best practices and report unsafe and unprofessional behavior.
Shift: First shift, 7:00am to 3:30pm with a 30 minute unpaid lunch.
Education: High School diploma or GED required
Work experience : 1 year experience in a manufacturing/industrial environment (3 years preferred). Basic SAP knowledge
Minimum Requirements: 1 year in a manufacturing/industrial environment, computer skills, quality awareness
Essential Mental Functions: Role model for housekeeping and safety practices, strong ability to pay attention to details, able to maintain high awareness of productivity, accuracy & quality while focusing on tasks at hand. Able to prioritize.
Essential Physical Functions: Ability to lift up to 75 lbs., ability to squat, sit, stand, walk, reach daily and as needed to perform all job functions.
Pay Details: $15.55 to $18.55 per hour
