**DESCRIPTION**
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
Collects master data (bill-of-material, work center & capabilities, etc.) supporting Plan for Every Part (PFEP).
Supports the creation of a capable (realistic and aligned) daily, weekly, or monthly production schedule for designated products or lines.
Understands risks (downtime, material shortage, etc.) and minimizes impact on the production schedule.
Takes ownership and accountability for the delivery of a production schedule that supports end Customer needs.
Drives accountability with cross-functional team members in Logistics and Operations to report on Schedule Attainment.
Communicates effectively within the assigned team and with all support teams.
**Key Responsibilities:**
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
Communicates effectively - Developing and delivering multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences.
Detailed Capacity Planning - Converts and translates the Master Production Schedule into detailed resource requirements resulting in optimized internal capacity utilization and identified constraints; negotiates changes to the schedule or available resources when demand exceeds demonstrated or installed capacity with a focus on meeting Available-to-Promise (ATP) dates; considers different options such as overtime, adding a shift or headcount, etc. to increase capacity during periods of constraint.
Plan for Every Part (PFEP) - Uses PFEP in planning, designing, and management of systems and processes within a facility to ensure delivery of right part at the right time in the right quantity to the right place, which in turn guarantees smooth operations; applies PFEP principles on the end to end supply chain with particular attention to the relationships between master data management, materials planning parameters, engineered material flows, transport management, and warehouse management.
Rough Cut Capacity Planning (RCCP) - Converts the Demand Plan and Master Supply Plan into critical resource (labor, machine, and materials) requirements resulting in negotiations and/or changes to the plan or available resources to balance supply and demand; focuses on longer term resource planning, not detailed.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**
**Education, Licenses, Certifications:**
High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.
This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
**Experience:**
Requires some work experience and intermediate level knowledge obtained through training or on-the-job experience. 1-4 years of relevant work experience preferred.
**QUALIFICATIONS**
Seeking individual with excellent communication, people, and organizational skills who can work in a high-paced team manufacturing environment. This individual must be capable of multi-tasking with the ability to see projects through to completion and be self-motivated. Excel and Oracle experience is highly preferred.
