Title: Senior Manager - Systems, FX & FX Options Requisition ID: 207032

Purpose:
The Senior Manager will be responsible to manage and contribute to the overall success of the FX product confirmations and settlements lifecycle, with a strong focus on FX Options product. The Senior Manager will manage & drive all changes for FX Options and FX products lifecycle with core functional accountabilities in confirmation, settlements and cash control processes.
Is this role right for you? In this role, you will:
Oversee and maintain the operational activities and processes originating from FXO, conducted by GBM. Activity supported is conducted by various Front Office Trading & Sales desks located in multiple geographic locations and jurisdictions. Examples of activities include but are not limited to trade confirmation, cash-flow settlement, cash control.
Identify/deconstruct/analyze complex business issues, document current-future state processes and conduct gap analysis.
Drive and lead the utilities modernization plan and technology transformation through extensive research, analysis, key issues identification and preparation of compelling strategic recommendations that lead to solutions for business problems, High touch strategic support.
Provide strategic advisory support services to management through participation in multiple forums of key initiatives, engaging in specific work streams of the project; Low-touch support.
Act as liaison to broader cross-functional project portfolio to ensure requirements and impacts are understood, defined, and socialized into larger plan capturing needs relative to time, money, scope, and people.
Oversee the review of out of mandate/non-core functions and propose steps to eliminate/re-align.
Understand and ensure the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture are considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.
Identify and evaluate various automation and technology solutions that improve productivity, cost, service support delivery, capacity, scale and standardization. Work collaboratively with GWRT to design and build the necessary technology platforms and/or tools. Be an active participant in appropriate working and governance structures to ensure effective prioritization of operational enhancements and future investments. Ensure strategic alignment and influence in GWO and S&C strategies, leveraging synergies to promote built to last outcomes.
Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? – We’d love to work with you if you have:
Experience in Capital Markets Operations
Expert knowledge in FX and FX Options products with a focus on Confirmations & Settlements functions
In-depth knowledge of Murex and WSS FX applications.
Advanced computer skills, particularly MS Office Suite - Excel, Access, Word, and PowerPoint.
Work Arrangement: This position is currently a Hybrid role. Please note that this is subject to change based on the needs of the business.
