Akkodis is seeking an Order Management Specialist for a full-time position supporting our client in Boothwyn, PA. In this role, you would be responsible for order processing, managing customer inquiries, and ensuring timely delivery of products.
Hourly pay: $18.00 to $20.00 W2 per hour based upon experience, education, geographic location and other factors.
Seeking local candidates as this is a fully onsite role. No C2C or third-party vendor candidates.
Responsibilities include:
- Entering order information into SAP (order and customer management system).
- Processing new orders and updating existing orders in SAP, providing ETS dates and order confirmation or acknowledge of PO receipt within 48 hours.
- Working with the purchasing department, in conjunction with using various functions in SAP, to determine product specific lead times.
- Providing order confirmations to customers and communicating the estimated ship date.
- Issuing Proforma Invoices for customers.
- Verifying product stock and providing lead times.
- Cross referencing part numbers to ensure accuracy of customer purchase orders.
- Confirming correct pricing on customer purchase orders.
- Providing general administrative support to management team.
- Communicating with Sales Organization to ensure customer satisfaction.
Required skills and experience includes:
- Associate degree desired but not required.
- 2-5 years of experience desired.
- Excellent PC skills, including MS Office.
- Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal and analytical skills.
- Detail oriented and ability to multitask.
- Spanish speaking desired but not required.
- SAP experience preferred.
- Ability to organize, manage and control various tasks.
- Ability and willingness to work with minimal supervision.
- Candidates must be detail oriented with strong communication skills. The role requires strong analytical skills and a focus on providing excellent customer service.
- Open to minimal travel.
