Position Summary: Assist customers and sales professionals in all aspects of the customer service process.
Responsibilities Include: - Answers phones and emails for customer inquiries.
- Assist customers and sales in entering and editing sales orders daily.
- Proficient use of Outlook.
- Pleasant voice demeanor.
- Good grammar and typing 40 wpm.
- Effective time management.
- Assist customers with product information.
- Review and research account and sales order information regarding deliveries, stock, credit, and pricing.
- Good negotiation skills
- Ability to work with internal business teams to meet the customer demand and ensure a good customer experience.
- Coordinate with sales representatives and merchandise mode of deliveries.
- Quote prices.
- Accurately provide inventory updates, inquiries and orders.
- Prepare special order requests for sales representatives.
- Administrative work as needed, such as but not limited to obtaining invoice copies, proof of delivery and purchase order confirmations.
- Assist warehouse with customer contacts on delivery changes, updates or cancelations.
- Other duties as assigned.
Ideal Candidate will have: - High school diploma required; Associates Degree preferred.
- Six months to one (1) year of experience in a customer service environment preferred.
- Ability to communicate effectively with sales professionals, customers, team members and management required.
- Must be detailed oriented and well organized.
Abilities Required: Must possess good organizational skills and superb verbal and written communication and problem-solving skills. Able to cope in a stressful and fast-paced environment. Detailed oriented, trustworthy, honest and respects confidentially. Sitting for prolonged periods of time, standing, walking, speaking, seeing, hearing, bending, and reaching.
