Position Overview:
The Customer Service Specialist will play a vital role in ensuring a seamless experience for clients and event planners. This individual will assist with menu selection, answer client inquiries, and coordinate all customer service-related tasks to ensure events run smoothly. The role requires excellent communication, problem-solving skills, and a keen attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist event planners and clients with menu selection based on dietary preferences, event size, and budget.
- Provide expert advice on catering options, food pairings, and special requests.
- Manage client inquiries, resolving any issues or concerns promptly and professionally.
- Collaborate with the kitchen and event staff to ensure accurate and timely delivery of services.
- Maintain detailed records of client preferences, orders, and special instructions.
- Follow up with clients post-event for feedback and ensure satisfaction.
- Hours are 10:00AM - 6:00PM Monday through Thursday and be on call remotely on Sundays and Fridays.
Qualifications: - Proven experience in customer service, preferably in the catering or hospitality industry.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong computer skills.
- Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of catering, food, and beverage offerings is a plus.
