Forklift operator:
JOB SUMMARY: Perform an array of functions that may include receiving and processing incoming and outgoing stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, or managing, organizing and retrieving stock in the warehouse.
Key Role:
- Warehouse Associate / Sit-down Forklift Operator, work interdentally to contribute to in and out bound warehouse operations.
- MUST be comfortable with other tasks that do not involve being on the forklift all shift.
- Forklift 50% other warehousing task 50%
- Receive, check in and put away stock quickly and accurately.
- Pull and Stage orders.
- Replenish and unload trailers as they come in with pallet jack or forklift.
- Order picking, slotting, replenishment, loading, and cross training to other departments. (inventory, shipping and receiving)
- May utilize manual and/or powered industrial equipment and/or RF guns to perform work tasks as well.
- Documents production log appropriately to include changes in assignments, downtime, meetings, etc. to ensure productivity records are accurate.
Requirements and Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent.
- Desire to work in a fast-paced, organized and positive warehouse environment.
- Ability to frequently lift, push, and slide packages that typically weigh up to 50 lbs., and may weigh up to 70 lbs.
- Ability to work full-time, 40 hours per week.
- Attention to detail and good time management skill
- 2+ years operation a sit-down and sit-down forklift.
- Plumbing experience A+
- 2+ year of Shipping & Receiving experience (preferred)
- Team player with positive attitude.
1st shift: 8 am to 5pm - Monday to Friday
