Warehouse General Laborer
- Assist shipping and receiving manually unloading trucks and checking in construction merchandise.
- Prepares orders by processing requests and supply orders; pulling materials; packing boxes; placing orders in delivery area.
- Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins according to organizational standards.
- Open bales, crates and other containers.
- Maintains inventory controls by collecting stock location orders, printing request, recording amounts of materials or items received or distributed manually. May also assist in counting of physical inventory.
- Prepare material for distribution and other entities.
- Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat, Sweep, dust and mop.
- Always organize warehouse and work area for orderliness.
- Responsible for off-loading, put-away, picking and staging of equipment and parts while providing professional quality customer service
- Wear the proper safety equipment.
Requirements
Qualifications: - Education: High School Diploma or GED
- Experience: None Required
- License or Certification: None
- Basic Math Skills.
Physical Demands: - Be able to lift 50-75 lbs.
- Perform repetitive tasks
- Long periods of standing at a time
