Our client is a large Vancouver-based organization seeking a Senior Salesforce Developer. This is a permanent position and is hybrid, two days a week in the office.
Qualifications The successful Candidate should demonstrate the following qualifications and experience (the “Qualifications”):
University degree or certification in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
5 years progressively more responsible experience in a programming/analysis environment, with at least three years at a programmer/analyst level.
Salesforce Programming Knowledge: Lightning Components, Apex, Visualforce.
Experience using Version Control (Git, BitBucket).
Experience developing multi-user solutions within a large Salesforce Org.
Experience working on large projects with high levels of integration.
Preferred Skills
Other Programming languages: C#, Java, SQL, XML, HTML, JS.
Experience in an Agile environment.
Knowledge of Web Services, SOAP, REST.
Knowledge of Database: Microsoft SQL Server, would be an asset.
Knowledge of Automation: Jenkins Pipeline, CICD, would be an asset.
Knowledge of Containerization: OpenShift, Docker, would be an asset.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent problem solving and analytical thinking/innovation.
Services
Perform development and analysis within a multivendor services environment.
Work with other technical resources as a member of an Agile Product Delivery Team.
Collaborate with business and other IT personnel to integrate new requirements into software solutions.
Work with vendors, and the business, as well as internal QA department on orchestrating testing and user acceptance.
Deliver technical solutions to projects and reviews technical design documents from vendors.
May act as a technical lead on key development projects.
Work with architecture team members in the creation of technical requirements and specs.
Provide application support of enterprise solutions.
Provide estimating and expertise to business cases brought forth during business planning cycles.
