We are currently recruiting for a full time Orthopedics Clinical Social Worker for our location in Waltham, MA. This employee will provide social work support to our Orthopedic Surgery patients
The Orthopedics Clinical Social Worker will be responsible for:- Providing clinical social work services to assist patients and families with personal, family, medical and environmental difficulties.
- Performing psychosocial and risk assessments, assigning diagnoses and developing and implementing interventions and treatment plans.
- Participating in planning and implementation of discharge and outpatient service plans and collaborates with health care team and community agencies to plan, implementing and following up on treatment and provision of needed services.
To qualify, you must have:- Master's degree in Social Work, and an LICSW licensure in MA
- Minimum of 2 years of medical social work experience is strongly preferred.
- Excellent communication skills, flexibility, team-oriented attitude, and ability to work in fast-paced environment is essential.
