This position reports to the Director of Mechanical and Electrical Services, or other assigned supervisor.nn• Reviews, interprets and accurately evaluates scope of work in the project documentsnn• Evaluates schedule and plans to determine when materials are to be procured and installednn• Provides updated procurement information on a weekly basis to scheduler assigned to the projectnn• Creates spreadsheets for material, install and installation procurement log and maintain on a weekly basisnn• Facilitates 3D cad coordination meetings and ensures information is processed in a timely and efficient manner in order to meet schedulenn• Enters RFls into ProCore and track progressnn• Prepares submittal package for submission to architect/engineernn• Prepares transmittals through ProCorenn• Evaluates changes and subcontractor change order estimates relating to Mechanical, plumbing and fire suppression subcontractor worknn• Verifies change order requests from subcontractors for accuracy and consistencynn• Obtains or maintains a working knowledge of the Mechanical, plumbing and fire suppression Codes, Life Safety Codes and local requirementsnn• Conducts daily job walks to insure the accuracy and quality of the Mechanical, plumbing and fire suppression system installationnn• Follow and enforce the Perini QA/QC program for Mechanical, plumbing and fire suppression systemsnn• Demonstrates technical knowledge of the construction industry and the ability to use cost-estimating methodsnn• Applies knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in construction fieldnn• Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the jobnn• Works under general supervisionnn• Develops and nurtures subcontractor/vendor relationshipnnREQUIREMENTS:nn• High School Diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, (Electrical, Construction Management) or technical training is required. A combination of education and work experience will also be considered in lieu of degreennDemonstrates good written and oral communications and team skillsnn• Minimum Ten (10) years of experience in the field or in a related area preferrednnReceives work direction and works independently with an interest in quickly learning and applying new skills and abilitiesnn• Must be dependable, consistent, diligent, and thoroughnn• Creative and resourceful in completing tasks accurately in a compressed timeframe Intermediate knowledge of Windows Operating SystemsnnIntermediate skill level with MS Excel 2000nnIntermediate skill level with MS Word 2000nnIntermediate skill with ProcorennIntermediate skill knowledge of MS OutlooknnSalary range for this position is $140,000 - $170,000 depending upon experiencennRudolph & Sletten builds extraordinary projects with exceptional talent.
