Growing home-based medical practice searching for professional, self-motivated Patient Care Specialists assist the Nurse Practitioner in seeing patients in home-based settings throughout the greater Columbia, SC area. Part Time Schedule - 8 hour days M-W-F.

Applicants are required to have the following:
n
n - Current CPR card
n - Current Drivers License
n - Clean Driving Record
n - Patient Care Experience Required. Relevant experience may include:
n n - Medical Assistant (Certification Preferred but not required)
n - EMT
n - Nursing Assistant (Certification Preferred but not required)
n

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
n
n - Performing patient care duties such as obtaining vital signs
n - Documenting patient care encounters
n - Assisting the APP in performing lab tests, blood draws, wound care, and other procedures.
n - Perform home visits to assist patient in connecting to a Provider via telehealth
n - Applicants must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.,
n - Be able to drive/ride in a company owned car for long distances, and physically meet the demands of the job.
n - May require some office/administration duties as well. EMR experience a plus.

Pay will be based upon experience.
