Patient Tech - Medicine / Telemetry
Rotating - 36 hours
Meyer 9 at The Johns Hopkins Hospital is a 22-bed adult medical unit with capacity for 12 patients requiring telemetry. Patient population includes cardiomyopathy patients, heart patients 24 hours post-uncomplicated MI, tracheostomy patients, and patients with GI and liver problems

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Active Nursing Assistant Certification (CNA) in Maryland is required.
  • One year of clinical experience e.g., home care, outpatient, acute care (hospital preferred) technician experience during the most recent two years in a setting relevant to the unit; volunteer work as EMT or CRT may be considered.
  • BLS CPR certification required: AHA, Red Cross, or Military Training Network accepted.

Salary Range: Minimum 16.86 per hour - Maximum 26.13 per hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
