Staffmark Drivers is hiring Class A Shuttle Drivers in Livermore, CA.
Pay | $29.50 per hour
Class A Shuttle Driver Job Duties:
- CDLA Route delivery to depots
- Shift varies daily depending on flowers bakery scheduling
- 8 to 12 hour shifts
- Heavy touch freight
- Driver bumps dock at depots but helps get stacked trays off truck into facility
- Plastic trays stacked of bread hand trucked into depots
- Each stack of trays has a tag with a 4 digit number that coincides with the depot # on the inside of the facility, the two must match so the driver has to check each stack and make sure it's going to the right depot.
- Sometimes stacks of trays are split stacked meaning the stack goes to two different depots and has two different tags on it and it will have divider so the driver knows where to drop it, but this is not as common.
- Stacks can be 6' tall
- Hand trucking the stacks into depots
- On average driver will make 1 to 2 stops
- Driver will be trained for one or two shifts before they deliver on their own
- Client likes to text driver back and forth if needed
- Trucks are equipped with cell phone mounts for drivers
- They use Samsara and for the ELD'S (will have driver download app on phone)
- Front facing cameras in all trucks
- No cell phone usage while driver, customer will get text alerts.
- Perform Pre-trip and post-trips on truck and trailer
- Tuesdays and Saturdays off

Qualifications
- 22 years of age or older
- Valid Class A license and medical card
- 1 year of Class A experience (within the last 3 years)
- No more than 3 moving violations and/or preventable accidents in the last 3 years or DUIs/DWIs in the last 5 years
