Description
Plumber Qualifications / Skills:
- Review blueprints and confirm the project scope, budget, and timeline
- Work with and train plumbers and helpers which may be assigned to you
- Oversee each phase on -site to ensure the project moves smoothly
- Document material and equipment use, as well as any problems that arise
- Produce regular status reports for upper management
- Conducts regular inspections of work in progress and on completion
- Establishes safety and work performance standards for subordinates
- Experience in running new construction plumbing projects from underground through trim
- Proficient/Experienced reading plans and designing plumbing systems
- Understanding, recognizing, and complying with OSHA safety regulations
- Prepares material take-offs, layout appropriate systems
- Coaches, mentors, and provides guidance to craft workers.
- Schedules and coordinates activities of assigned craft workers and operation of equipment and machinery
- Eliminates construction and job site hazards and perform required safety observations
- Coordinates placement and storage of materials, tools and supplies to support the construction plan
- Attends required department meetings and company, or contractor training as required
- Verifies that delivered materials and equipment match approved submittals
- Identifies conflicts or need for clarification in contract documents
- Exhibits professional conduct at all times, whether at the job site or driving company vehicles
- Performs other duties as required

Requirements
Education and Experience Requirements: - High school diploma or GED certificate
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- 2+ years' experience as a Foreman plumber (preferred)
- Valid driver's license
- Must have own tools
- Must have reliable transportation
