Description Average Starting Rate: 28.00/hr 1st Shift 6:00 am to 4:30 pm Monday - Thursday, Friday and/or Saturday 6:00 am to 2:30 pm Holidays, PTO, Medical, Dental, Vision, Telemedicine and Supplemental Benefits. Overview : The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the upkeep of the facility and is required to be skilled in a variety of areas including plumbing, carpentry, and electrical systems. Duties include but are not limited to: inspecting buildings, maintaining inventory, and scheduling repairs. Performs maintenance service and repairs in the areas of facilities maintenance. Repair and perform preventative maintenance on machinery/mechanical equipment in an industrial environment.
Job Functions: - Assemble, install, test and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, machinery, apparatus, and fixtures, using hand, power, and precision measuring tools.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components, using test equipment and hand tools.
- Responsible for the connection of wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components.
- Calculate, lay-out/draw, balance and align equipment.
- Utilize or fabricate all types of mechanical parts (fitting, valves, etc.) needed from cold rolled steel, stainless steel, steel plate, structural steel members and other metals.
- Maintain electrical equipment to meet regulatory codes at the country, state and federal levels.
- Recommends measures to Maintenance Manager to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product. Strong mechanical background.
- Understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic circuits.
- Working knowledge of the metric system.
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair CNC machines and be able to troubleshoot and repair overhead cranes.
- Familiar with automated plasma and oxy-fuel cutting equipment.
- Support the safety and quality programs by following all accompanying rules and established processes.
- Other duties as assigned. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complicated tasks.
Qualifications: - Education: May require a high school diploma or its equivalent. May be required to meet certain certifications in field and to have at least 4 years of experience.

- Safety Requirements: Hard hat, in required areas, safety shoes and safety glasses
