The Maintenance technician will receive work orders for preventive maintenance and other general work needed from Plumbing, Mechanical, HVAC and electrical. Will receive call during shift for minor repairs needed. Also inspect building equipment to identify issues and respond to emergency and non-emergency calls.
Responsibilities:
Inspect building equipment to identify any issues.
Trouble shoot electrical and mechanical problems on dock doors, dock levelers, baler, compactors, battery changer, shrink wrap machine.
Perform minor repairs to building fixtures, minor plumbing repairs (sinks, toilets, water fountains and water dispensers) replace light fixtures, air filters and perform touch up paintings.
Perform battery change duties when needed on forklift equipment and maintain forklift batteries.
Document all preventive maintenance and complete on or before the due date, keep all equipment safe, clean and in good working standard.
Perform all task with minimal interference with production department process.
Communicate with the operation Manager regarding equipment repairs status.
Perform other duties as assigned by Management.
All PM and inspection paper work needs to be legible.
Requirements:
High school diploma, trade school preferred
Ability to lift, stand, pull up to 50lbs
Minimum 2 yrs experience in the trades field
