What You Will Do
Actively contribute to creating a safe working environment by identifying hazards and proactively mitigating them
Perform preventative maintenance on environmental chambers, HVAC equipment, mechanical systems, and other equipment as directed.
Repair & troubleshoot, environmental chambers issues, HVAC equipment including air handlers, compressed air, and process water systems, mechanical systems including motors, pumps, belts and pulleys.
Bathroom repair/replace work including rebuilding of faucets, urinal and toilets.
Door repair work including fire doors, security card lock doors, shipping roll up doors
Use the maintenance data base system maintain documentation on repairs, PMs, and material.
Oversee, schedule and order parts for contractors
Install new equipment throughout the facility.
Support other maintenance activities as well as additional duties assigned.
Be able to answer calls after hours and weekends for emergency repairs.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
High School Diploma or GED
Minimum of 7 years' experience in reliability or maintenance
Familiar with life safety system and toxic gas analyzers
Experience in maintenance data base system, Excel, Word, Power point.
Experience diagnosing mechanical and electronic systems using scanning and diagnostic tools, multi-meters, and computers.
Experience in EPA Method 9 certification for opacity readings.
Experience in elevators and personal retrieval in elevators
Will work afterhours and call-ins when needed.
