DESCRIPTION OF WORK
In this position, you will play a key part in creating, implementing, and overseeing treatment, training, and related services for our residents. Working as part of an interdisciplinary team, you will deliver treatment and training in self-care, socialization, and health maintenance according to each person's individual support plan. Additionally, you will contribute to improving the living environment by helping to select furniture and equipment, as well as assist with purchasing and placing personal items. You will also ensure residents have choices in their daily activities, balancing risk with opportunities for their personal growth.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment, 40 hours per week
- Work hours after training are 2nd shift (2:45 PM to 11:15 PM), with 30-minute lunch.
- Work hours during training are 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM.
- You will work a rotating schedule of 7 days on, 2 days off, 8 days on, 4 days off.
- You may be required to travel as needed.
- Overtime is required for this position.
- May change based on operational needs.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Successful completion of the Aide Trainee program (commonwealth title); or
- Six months of paid experience in the care, activities, and personal guidance of individuals with intellectual disabilities.

- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
Legal Requirements:
- A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination.
- This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act.
- Under the Act, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to, PA State Police and FBI clearance.
