Job Summary: The role demands a skilled professional with over 10 years of industrial maintenance experience to maintain and troubleshoot both stationary and mobile automated equipment, ensuring optimal functionality and minimal unplanned downtime.
In this role, you will work closely with operators, contribute to preventative maintenance programs, and help maintain a robust inventory system. The ideal candidate must be proficient in mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems, and have a solid foundation in fabrication and welding.
Job Responsibilities: - Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems, ensuring minimal equipment downtime.
- Execute both preventative and corrective maintenance plans on critical plant equipment such as biogas compressors, air compressors, boilers, pumps, and conveyors.
- Work alongside and provide guidance to technician-level operators, promoting a safe, efficient working environment.
- Accurately read and interpret technical documentation, including blueprints, schematics, and hydraulic/piping drawings.
- Perform stick welding and assist with fabrication tasks as needed.
- Manage spare parts inventory and ensure proper documentation using computer-based maintenance management systems.
- Ensure compliance with company and industry safety policies, especially when working with energized equipment.
- Provide operational support during weekend shifts
Qualifications: - 10+ years of experience as a maintenance technician in an industrial environment.
- Expertise in mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
- Proficiency in stick welding and basic fabrication techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings.
- Hands-on experience with biogas compressors, boilers, conveyors, and other industrial machinery.
- Familiarity with using Microsoft Office and Windows-based systems for reporting and data entry.
- Ability to lift 75 pounds, climb ladders, and operate mobile platforms such as scissor lifts and man lifts.
- Ability to work on ladders, scaffolding, and mobile work platforms.
- Must be able to lift and move heavy equipment (up to 75 pounds) regularly.
- Must be comfortable standing and walking for the entirety of a shift.
