Our client is seeking an experienced HVAC Service Technician to join the team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC installation, maintenance, and repair. As an HVAC Service Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing HVAC systems, performing routine maintenance tasks, installation of parts and equipment and providing excellent customer service.
Salary: $25-35/hour
Responsibilities:
- Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems, including but not limited to furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and boilers.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system problems, including electrical and mechanical malfunctions.
- Conduct routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning and replacing filters, checking refrigerant levels, and testing system performance.
- Communicate with customers to explain system operation, recommend maintenance or repair options, and provide excellent customer service.
- Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used.
- Participate in training and professional development opportunities as needed.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Have the ability to work legally within the United States.
- 2+ years of experience in HVAC service and installation.
- Knowledge of HVAC systems, including electrical and mechanical components.
- New construction experience preferred, but not required.
- Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system problems.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- EPA certification preferred., but not required.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
