PMHFOS is currently seeking responsible and dedicated candidates for a Maintenance Coordinator position in the Rochester area. This is a full-time position under the direct supervision of the Vice President of Security and Maintenance. The Maintenance Coordinator is responsible for coordinating all aspects relating to the properties owned, leased, or operated across PMHFOS.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE MAINTENANCE COORDINATOR:

  • Primary responsibility will be to oversee all assigned PMHFOS property locations, including property management, maintenance, physical site, township and homeowners’ ordinances, and neighborhood integration and concerns.
  • Manage assigned independent maintenance contractors to ensure that all property/building maintenance projects are completed to the highest standard and in a timely manner.
  • Must be able to perform maintenance repairs in community homes and at all office locations including, but not limited to carpentry, plumbing, electrical, drywall and painting.
  • Oversee multiple projects simultaneously and independently and oversee vendors.
  • Ability to carry oneself in a professional manner while communicating and developing professional relationships with a multitude of outside vendors.
  • On call availability, required.
  • Ability to encourage cost effectiveness when completing projects to a high-quality standard.
  • Snow removal, when necessary.
  • Other duties, as assigned by the Vice President of Security and Maintenance.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE OF THE MAINTENANCE COORDINATOR:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Business, Property Management, or a related field, preferred.
  • Minimum of two (2) years property management experience.
  • Minimum of 18 years of age.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Experience in carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC (Certifications not required, but highly recommended).
  • Active/Ability to climb ladders and work in all conditions.
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (e.g. Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook).
