Job DescriptionnnYou will be responsible for manufacturing in-process inspections and receiving (incoming) material inspections in accordance with drawing, manufacturing order, and purchase order requirements. You must have experience and demonstrate proficiency using calibrated measuring and test equipment. You should have experience with inspection and handling of electronic equipment and manufacturing methods. Good written, verbal communication and computer skills are needed for this role.nnResponsibilitiesnnInspect visually in-process and completed products such as electronic units and subsystems, precision electromechanical assemblies or mechanical units, subassemblies, structural flaws, internal defects, and missing welds.nnUse various measuring devices and testing equipment.nnAccept, reject, or rework defective or malfunctioning units or systems.nnWork from blueprints, diagrams, dial indicators, preset micrometers, scales, fixtures, customer specifications, drawing or inspection instructions, and checklists.nnMonitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures.nnPerform line clearances after each lot to ensure all materials from the previous lot have been removed.nnEssential SkillsnnExperience in inspection and handling of electronic equipment and manufacturing methods.nnProficiency in using calibrated measuring and test equipment.nnGood written and verbal communication skills.nnGood computer skills.nnExperience with standard inspection equipment such as micrometers, verniers, height gauges, and gauge pins.nnExperience with CMM, calipers, visual inspection, non-conforming quality control, and quality checks.nnAbility to work from blueprints and diagrams.nn2 years of experience in quality inspection or related field.nnAbout ActalentnnActalent is a global leader in engineering and sciences services and talent solutions.
