Responsibilities:
Inspect facilities' internal and external condition periodically to determine problems and necessary maintenance
Strong electrical experience desired
Conduct analysis of problems and investigate required manpower, equipment, cost, plant or equipment up/down time, repair vs. replacement costs, weight, size, and availability of materials and/or equipment and report to stakeholders
Schedule and supervise vendors and tradesmen during installations, repairs or maintenance (electricians, plumbers etc.)
Inspect and maintain building systems (electrical, heating, ventilation etc.)
Monitor inventory of materials and equipment
Participate in coordination of projects (e.g. electrical and renovations)
Understand and maintain 4S standards
Attend meetings as required by management
Ensure adherence to quality standards and health and safety regulations
Complete and submit accident reports when work related accidents or injuries occur
All other duties as assigned by management
Minimum Requirements:
High school diploma; Associates degree in a technical discipline
Strong technical knowledge of all building systems (electrical, heating etc.)
Ability to operate all industrial machine tools such as welder, surface grinder, etc.
Basic machine shop practices, such as drilling holes with drill press, tapping holes, threading pipe, identifying pipe fittings, and how they are used (some water lines, mostly air lines)
Blue Print Reading is desirable
Knowledge of health & safety practices and regulations
Understanding of budgeting and performance management
Excellent planning
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Competency with computers including web applications, Microsoft Word and Excel
